I needed to deploy ova to esxi without vsphere web client or classic client.
For this operation i have used the OVFTOOL.
The tool is vmware tool and it is possible do download :

https://www.vmware.com/support/developer/ovf/

– Download file   VMware-ovftool-4.1.0-2459827-lin.x86_64.bundle (64bit version)
– Install on redhat  use this command sh vmware
          sh VMware-ovftool-4.1.0-2459827-lin.x86_64.bundle
– Copy to esxi over ssh the /usr/lib/vmware-ovftool/
           scp -r /usr/lib/vmware-ovftool/ root@*.*.*.*:/vmfs/volumes/<datastoreESXi>
– On esxi on  the datastore into directory /vmware-ovftool/ change the used shell for ovftool command.

– For test the tool use this command:

/vmfs/volumes/<datastoreESXi>/vmware-ovftool/ovftool /vmfs/volumes/<datastoreEsxi>/<image>.ova

The file .ova need reside in the datastore esxi

In the output you see the ova info (es. use UEB .ova  unitrend enterprise backup) 

Now you are ready to deploy the ova appliance with this command:

For show different configuration from Startup Config and Running Config:

show running-config diff

for save

copy running-config startup-config

On opt file i find:

VMMAXP=4

on definition of NODE on TSM server i found

MAXNUMMP=1

this is incorrect.
I need change the value for MAXNUMMP:

  MAXNUMMP >= VMMAXP

if httpd_can_sendmail is off.

use:

permanent:

I need replace Database on my installation MYSQL.

– Connect to DB

mysql -u <username> -p

– Show DB

SHOW DATABASES;

– Drop Database

 DROP DATABASE wpdb;

-Recreate DB

 create database wpdb;
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.00 sec)

– Import Database

mysql -u user -p wpdb < wp_xxxx2014.dmp

In questi giorni VMWARE  ha presentato la nuova piattaforma di virtualizzazione VSPHERE 6 e  alcune piattaforme per gestione e implementazione dell’hybrid cloud.

Come si può immaginare oltre che, come avviene sempre con le nuove versioni, VMWARE con VSPHERE 6 ha spostato l’asticella verso l’alto relativamente alle risorse HW gestite:

Mentre  altri  aspetti interessanti sono il Fault tolerance su cui ha ampliato il supporto fino a 4 virtual cpu, il vmotion che adesso puo’ essere fatto tra virtual center e anche “long distance”
