Al prompt dei comandi digitare nslookup e premere INVIO.

Digitare server , , dove indirizzo IP indica l’indirizzo IP del server DNS esterno, quindi premere INVIO.

Digitare set q=MX e premere INVIO.

Digitare , dove nome dominio indica il nome del dominio corrente, quindi premere INVIO. Verrà visualizzato il record MX per il dominio immesso.

mount -o remount,rw /

Il comando per vedere le fix installate su un OS aix :

instfix -i —> elenca tutte le fix installate
instfix -i | grep –> verifica la presenza della fix ricercata

1. As the PureMessage user (‘pmx’ by default), run ‘pmx-service stop smtp’ and ‘pmx stop’.

2. As the root user, run ‘/opt/pmx/bin/pmx-setup’.

A seguito della configurazione di una coda di stampa da un server AIX (riscxxx) verso la stampante di un altro AIX (riscyyy) :

root@riscxxx>lpstat -pgeam

geam: 0781-202 your host does not have line printer access.

Basta aggiungere sul server riscyyy nel file

/etc/hosts.lpd

l’hostname del server su cui vado a configurare la stampante (nel mio caso riscxxx)

Ha poco a che fare con tutto il resto ….
